Graham Villette and Kosma Busheikin join forces to present the music of Horace Silver. Busheikin and Villette are a regular drum and bass duo with a long history working together in the Vancouver Island music scene. They are known for their strong commitment to groove and straight-ahead swing. Bringing together some of the top young players from Nanaimo and Vancouver, the quintet will play some of Silver's hidden gems alongside a few of his hits. Silver's writing is characterized by a unique mixture of swing, blues and latin jazz. Expect a dynamic and exciting show!
