The Jodi Proznick/Mark McLean Quartet features Jodi Proznick on bass and Mark McLean on drums, alongside Jon Bentley on saxophone and Tilden Webb on piano. Their musical connection was first highlighted at Massey Hall in an Oscar Peterson tribute, and continues here with a shared sense of clarity, drive, and nuance. A four-time JUNO Award nominee, Proznick is one of Canada’s leading jazz bassists and composers. McLean, an internationally acclaimed drummer based in New York, has performed with some of the world’s most respected artists, including Oscar Peterson, Wynton Marsalis, Diana Krall, the Count Basie Orchestra, Gladys Knight, Billy Joel, George Michael, Joe Sample, Dewey Redman, and Jamie Cullum. Known for his deep swing, versatility, and dynamic range, McLean brings a wealth of experience and musicality to the quartet.
