The legendary Warren Hill is an international star of the saxophone. With a career that includes 13 CDs for RCA, Warner, and EMI, touring in over 25 countries and selling over a million records worldwide. Hill’s solo singles and collaborations broke barriers by topping the charts of multiple genres: Pop, Adult Contemporary and Smooth Jazz. Born and raised in Toronto, Hill is a distinguished alumni graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston. He began his career in 1991 when his debut RCA album shot to the top of the contemporary jazz charts and landed him the opening spot with Natalie Cole's Unforgettable 40 city North American tour. Since then, he's had numerous number 1 records, singles, and an impressive array of awards and nominations from the Junos, Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards, SESAC, and HMMA’s. Hill’s rendition of the Beatles “Hey Jude” in 1998 became a YouTube phenomenon in the late 2000’s, creating an entirely new fanbase of saxophone lovers around the globe - particularly in Brazil, South Korea, China and S.E. Asia. Warren’s live show is anything but smooth. Be prepared for a high energy interweaving of jazz,rock, latin and funk. Joining Warren on stage will be an incredible cast of Vancouvers finest musicians: Kristian Alexandrov on keys, Ian Cameron on guitar, Issah Contractor on drums and Victor Balconi on bass.
