Award-winning bassist, composer, arranger and educator Paul Rushka is thrilled to return to the stage at Frankie’s. Known for his sonorous tone and expressive melodic creativity, Rushka's assured confident beat informs everything he plays. Bill Bennett (All About Jazz) states that Rushka "comes across like a postmodern Milt Hinton, providing a powerful pulse that never flags". Now living in Nova Scotia, where he is a professor at StFX University, Rushka is excited to perform a mix of standards and originals with some of his most cherished musical companions.
