Arvind Ramdas is a dynamic young jazz drummer based in Vancouver, recognized as one of the city’s busiest percussionists. Over the years, he has had the privilege of performing alongside many of Vancouver’s jazz legends and trailblazers in Brad Turner, John Gross, Steve Kaldestsd, Cory Weeds to name a few. In 2025, he brings his quintet to the International Jazz Festival, showcasing some of the most talented young musicians in the city. The group features Noah Franche-Nolan on piano, David Caballero on bass, Spencer Drody on trumpet, and Tamas Balai on alto saxophone, Offering a thrilling night of hard-hitting, swinging compositions and arrangements from the Great American Song Book.
