STEVE KALDESTAD QUINTET featuring THOMAS MARRIOTT

Saxophonist Steve Kaldestad puts together a fantastic quartet featuring pianist Tilden Webb, bassist Conrad Good, and John Lee drums. He welcomes trumpeter Thomas Marriott to join the band. Marriott is a Pacific Northwest treasure. Stereophile Magazine says “Marriott is living proof that not all the best trumpeters in America live in New York” and the Seattle PI boasts “A trumpet player whose music can fit into any decade, he is both historically traditional and in the moment.” Steve has called Vancouver home since 2008 after long stints living and performing in London (UK) and Montreal. He has recorded four CDs for the Cellar Music label, the most recent being “Live at Frankie’s Jazz Club". Steve is a full-time faculty member at Capilano University in North Vancouver.
