WES ANDERSON QUINTET

Wesley is an established and in-demand bebop and hard bop drummer on Vancouver’s jazz scene. He brings his exciting new quintet to Frankie’s Jazz Club, featuring some of the city’s finest players. The group will perform repertoire from some of the most iconic quintets of the 20th century, including music by Horace Silver, Gigi Gryce, Sonny Clark, Wayne Shorter, and more. Expect an evening of hard-swinging classics, delivered with a fastidious respect for the tradition and the great composers who shaped it.
