

“The honey-voiced vocalist,” as the Toronto Sun describes her, Gergana (Gair-GAH-nah) is a Bulgarian–Canadian jazz singer and composer who has inspired audiences across the U.S., Europe, and Canada, including New York, Boston and Los Angeles. Gergana has shared the stage with Grammy and Juno award-winning musicians. She has recorded seven solo albums, critically acclaimed on international jazz charts, with her seventh album set for release in 2026 on Canada’s premier jazz label, Cellar Live Music Group. Equally at home in Jazz, Bossa Nova, art song, and musical theatre, she captivates audiences with her warm and energetic stage presence, uplifting lyrics, and soulful performances, bringing originality and sophistication to every show. A respected music educator, conductor, and vocal coach, Gergana holds a Master of Music in Classical and Jazz Voice Performance from Boston’s Longy School of Music, serves on the faculty of the Vancouver Symphony (VSO) School of Music, and conducts the West Vancouver Heritage Choir and B Sharp Vocal Ensemble.
