Formed in 2004, the Jodi Proznick Quartet has become one of Canada’s most celebrated jazz ensembles, earning multiple awards and two JUNO nominations. The group features Jodi Proznick (bass), Tilden Webb (piano), Jesse Cahill (drums), and Jon Bentley (saxophones). For this special performance, they welcome acclaimed NYC based trumpeter Rachel Therrien, known for her dynamic blend of jazz, Afro-Latin, and global influences. The evening will feature original works from the quartet’s JUNO-nominated albums Foundations and Sun Songs, alongside inspired arrangements of music by Joni Mitchell, Duke Ellington, Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard, Kenny Wheeler and more — a vibrant celebration of jazz tradition and innovation.
